Future Audio Camera App SDK and Firmware Overview Reviewed 12 October 2026 Purpose Supplier-neutral overview prepared for camera-glasses OEM/ODM evaluation. This is a summary of reviewed reference materials, not an SDK package or independently tested compatibility certificate. SDK libraries, source projects and firmware binaries are supplied privately subject to access/license review. Reviewed reference packages Android 2.0.0, dated 7 August 2026: binary AAR libraries, Android Demo and development guides. iOS 1.2.0: framework, Swift Demo and development guide. The source context is the M-20 camera-reference platform. Applicability to other Scout, Cue or Verse models must be verified. Documented integration topics BLE scanning and connection; device/version/battery status; photo capture commands; video configuration; audio recording/session controls; media status and Wi-Fi transfer; AI image/audio callbacks; Wi-Fi live-mode controls; host/media firmware update paths. Android documentation describes an RTSP live URL. iOS has live-mode and STA-state interfaces. Exact package/API alignment, firmware behavior, transport, latency, concurrent audio and runtime require a working sample test. Architecture Phone app / SDK -> BLE host controller -> internal control link -> camera/media processor. Host: RTOS, Bluetooth, audio processing, wake/control handling and mode arbitration. Media processor: camera, image processing, storage and Wi-Fi media service. Large photo/video files use the agreed Wi-Fi transfer workflow. Supported AI image/audio callbacks use their documented session path. Calls, music, AI dialogue, recording, file transfer and updates have conflict/priority behavior. Concurrent operation is not a universal capability. This camera architecture is separate from the Qualcomm/BES camera-plus-display project platform. Companion app commercial offer The first-year app subscription fee is waived for the standard companion-app offer. Confirm activation, included services/quotas, regions and renewal pricing in the quotation. This does not imply lifetime-free or unlimited AI, free custom development, or inclusion of every third-party service. Acceptance checklist Match model, board, firmware, app and SDK versions. Confirm access/license terms and phones. Pair, take a photo, test recording, transfer media, verify required audio/AI callbacks and test OTA with approved firmware. Request known limitations and maintenance responsibilities. SDK access does not imply firmware source-code delivery or ownership of third-party libraries.
