We run all three, and we will tell you which one fits your project rather than which one sells the most tooling.
ODM
Start from a platform already in production and change what the customer sees and touches: frame, colourway, branding, packaging, firmware, app. The engineering core is validated, so your budget goes to brand and channel instead of to discovering problems.
Fits when: Your edge is the brand, the audience or the channel.
JDM
Joint development: you bring the product definition and the market knowledge, we bring the eyewear and wearable engineering, and the design is worked out together rather than handed over in either direction. Where the two sides own what comes out of it is settled before we start.
Fits when: You know exactly what the product must do, but not how to build it into a frame.
OEM
You own the design and we build it. Tooling, engineering and certification are funded for a product that has not existed before, and the result is defensibly yours.
Fits when: The hardware itself is your moat.
