Questions buyers ask about Verse Lite
Where we quote per project rather than publish a number, it is because the number would be wrong half the time — not to make you ask.
- What is the minimum order quantity for Verse Lite?
- We quote it per project rather than publishing one number, because the work is not comparable across projects: a colourway change on an existing frame and a new frame tool have very different economics. Send us your target quantity for a first order and we will confirm what is realistic against the tooling that already exists for this platform.
- What can we customise on Verse Lite?
- Four layers, and you can stop at any of them. Frame: your own front, colourway, hinge and temple profile. Branding: laser-marked logo, custom packaging, printed manuals, branded charging case. Firmware: Bluetooth pairing name, voice prompts, language packs, gesture map. App: a white-label companion app, or integration with an app you already run. Most projects start from this platform as it stands and change only the layers that matter to their market.
- Can you handle CE, FCC and RoHS certification for Verse Lite?
- We do not hold certificates for Verse Lite today — the only platform with documents already in hand is Scout One (model M-20), which has CE RED, FCC and RoHS. For this platform, certification is arranged as part of the project: testing goes through our lab and the certificate is issued in your entity's name, for the markets you are actually selling into. Tell us the target markets and we will scope it.
- How long does a sample take?
- It depends entirely on what changes. A sample built on this platform as it stands is a different job from one waiting on a new frame tool, so we do not publish a single figure that would be wrong half the time. Send the spec and we will come back with a date we can actually commit to. Samples ship from Shenzhen.
- Can the AI features work with our own model or backend?
- The AI behaviour that ships on this platform is what appears in the specification table above — nothing more is implied. Firmware and companion-app customisation are both in ODM scope, so whether your own model or backend can be wired in comes down to the chipset on this particular platform and what the integration needs to do. Send us the requirement and we will tell you straight whether this platform can carry it or whether another one fits better.
